A classic, ceramics-inspired blue
Warmer than Cook’s Blue and brighter than Stone Blue, this shade was inspired by the blue and white patterned Chinese ceramics displayed in the room for which it was originally mixed.

Beautiful, nuanced blue
I have an obnoxiously large and irregularly shaped west-facing Master Bedroom. It was painted in Inchyra Blue, but I wanted a cheerier color once COVID hit and we were housebound. I couldn't be more pleased with Chinese Blue! It is the perfect blue to my eye, neither too red nor too yellow. With my western exposure, the color trends a little cool, almost towards blueberry in the mornings. As the day progresses, the color warms up considerably, taking on a more turquoise cast. At night, it is cosy but not dim. I used Railing in the open attached bath, with All White on the trim & ceiling.
Highly recommend.

Love this colour!
I have just finished painting my bedroom in this. I’m so happy with the result. It was a risk as we couldn’t get a tester but it was a risk worth taking. After endless searching for the right blue we have finally found it. Looks great in sunshine and is cosy without being too dark in the evening.
