Rated 5 out of 5 by Sam452 from Perfect start for an upcycling project. Love the primer. It sets up a fantastic finish for my upcycling projects. No matter what the original surface was coated with after a bit of a sand, clean and prime the modern eggshell glides on for a perfect finish.

After 3 under-coats on one run of skirting and 4 coats on another the knotting was still showing through. Paint returned to F&B for testing but was told it met their specification. If that was the case then (as it applied according to the instructions on the tin) why the problem? Not happy with F&B response so will not use their products in future.
