A bright avocado green

This fresh avocado green was discovered in an 18th century Georgian farmhouse in Yeabridge, Somerset, when the original gun cupboard was removed. Although untouched for many years, it was still astonishingly bright and reminiscent of the lush grass that surrounds the house. This uncomplicated, clean green sits happily in both contemporary settings and period homes. It has a little more yellow than Breakfast Room Green but a little less than Churlish Green. Pair with Hague Blue to create a truly uplifting interior.

Complementary white: Ammonite

The finest ingredients

The finest ingredients

We’re dedicated to perfecting the art of paint. At our home in Dorset, we combine the finest ingredients, 75 years of experience and technical precision to help you create beautiful spaces that stay beautiful. Even in our colour rich paints, less than 8% of the tin is the colour. The other 92% is what creates the quality, depth and extraordinary response to light that transforms your home.

Paint is like coffee. The colour is the froth on the top, but it’s the quality of the rest of the cup that makes it taste good.
– Richard Ball, Farrow & Ball Co-founder

We use twelve exclusive pigments, all specifically selected for their colour intensity. We take colour seriously, so naturally, we only accept the very best. By using these same pigments to make every colour in our palette, all our shades combine effortlessly, making it easy for you to put together a cohesive colour scheme.

Deeper, richer colours

Deeper, richer colours

Packed with pigment for an extraordinary response to every kind of light.

We add generous helpings of rich pigment to create our signature look – deep colours with complex undertones. The same space that feels bright and airy in morning sun, can feel cosy and intimate by evening. Our teams design each shade under every kind of light, so it will be perfectly balanced in every setting.

Extraordinary response to light

Extraordinary response to light

We spend months carefully crafting and testing each of our paint colours to make sure they share our signature extraordinary response to light. This beautiful reaction to changing light, like bringing out different undertones or shifting intensity, is what makes our paint so special.

Interior and exterior finishes

Interior and exterior finishes

Green Paint Schemes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Refreshing Classic This green is refreshing and yet classic. We were initially a little unsure but most happy to say it harmonises well with dropcloth in our west facing room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product Stunning colour! Both the undercoat and top coat went on beautifully. Very hardwiring. It has made my cupboard a focal point in my kitchen. I ordered online, which was quick and simple and received it within a couple of days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow...stunning green! Perfect green to add a pop of colour to my Oval Room Blue walls and teal wall tiles in my downstairs toilet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fresh colour and easy to use We used Yeabridge Green on a pair of double doors to bring the outdoors in to our hallway. It pairs wonderfully with Wimborne White and Stony Ground which are used on walls and woodwork in the adjoining rooms. Good coverage when applied with a suitable roller. For reference, the porch has a large west facing window, another large south facing one, and a semi glazed front door facing east- so it’s very bright.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous green After much deliberation and numerous sample pots, finally decided on Yearbridge green and pointing for our kitchen/dining area. It's beautiful relaxing and created a very calming feel. Painted it under the kitchen units too as well as on the feature wall radiator and chairs. We love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from lovely warm green i purchased yeabridge green for the trim and ceiling in my victorian dining room that receives very little light throughout the day due to the western facing window. with yeabridge on the ceiling, and lime white on the walls, the room feels very bright and warm, even during the early hours of the day. i used a sprayer for the ceiling and trim, and the coverage came out amazing. it looks very smooth and even. the warmth of this green really helped the space out considerably.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exterior paint - Yeabridge Green Great customer service, I ordered a real whack of sample colours and they got lost in post but F&B had already located them and was ready to send more. Needless to say, I went a bit crazy and chose Yeabridge Green in the end, for the OUTSIDE of my house, brave move, I had an excellent painter to apply it also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A warm green Very happy with this colour on a feature wall in our kitchen. Very warm green that adds character in our new build modern space.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from a vibrant green Usually I like subtle greens but for an accent, Yeabridge is ideal. It offers a pop without overwhelming. Adding it to my repository of F&B greens.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I have used farrow & ball for years now and have loved it for the richness of the color and the incredible coverage. I love this green—it’s beautiful. My issue is that the paint is drying unevenly and isn’t covering well this time. I used two coats of mid tone primer (as recommended), and have just applied my FOURTH coat to the walls! I had to purchase an additional can after the third coat. If this doesn’t work I don’t know what I’m going to do next. It would be frustrating with any paint, but the price of this brand takes that frustration to new heights. I’m really disappointed.
