A lively blue
Paint Colours: Stone Blue
This warm and timeless blue is named after the indigo pigment which was often imported in lumps in the 18th century. Stone Blue’s lively and saturated colour can be used alongside warmer tones such as Pelt to create an inviting vintage look, or the cooler Mole's Breath for a cleaner, more contemporary feel. When contrasted with Dimpse woodwork, however, it feels both distinguished and familiar.
Available in our brand new Dead Flat® finish for walls, woodwork and metal.
Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Mid Tones

This is such a lovely vibrant and rich colour. We have used it to brighten up a small dark hall.

Unique and exciting warm blue
Stone Blue was the first Farrow and Ball paint I've ever purchased, after seeing gorgeous pics shared on Instagram both from the brand and from regular users. I just knew it would create a gorgeous glow and visual interest in a small northeast bedroom with dormers and other angles, and I was absolutely right. It's a middle value, strong but complex/grounded blue with a green undertone. I use the room as an office, and I've gotten many compliments from remote coworkers on my color choice. It's the first time in decades I just went for a color without testing, and I'm thrilled with the result.
