Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely neutral calm colour We just used slipper satin in our south facing very sunny bedroom and it works really well. The colour is very neutral, at first it reminded me of very pale latte but as it dried it became paler. At times I can see a subtle grey to it, it's cream with out being yellow. It looks really classy against all white woodwork. Delivery was extremely fast and the paint quality as always fantastic. It glides on the wall! We were painting on fresh plaster and only needed 2 coats of paint over the undercoat. The great thing about farrow and ball is that it does not smell, so we were able to sleep in the room the same day it had been painted! Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but definitely try a tester pot first! Slipper Satin is a lovely neutral, I would say in the 'milk-chocolate' colours group, but I would absolutely recommend you get a couple of tester pots first and paint a large patch with 2 coats to get a good impression of what it will eventually look like, on each wall of the room. This is because in a small or dark-ish room this colour can be an awful muddy brown - I agree with another reviewer here, the finished result is at least 3 shades darker than one would expect from looking just at the chip on the paint chart. Slipper Satin seems to absorb a lot of light, which in a large or very well-lit room is fine, but which would spell disaster in a small space.
