Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally found the one Having decided to update my hall after a good number of years I originally liked elephants breath however it was to dark for my hall with lighting, I wanted something that would still feel warm and after 5 tester pots of paint and driving family and friends mad I finally chose skimming stone after originally dismissing it (funny how a tester pot can grow on you after a few days admiring the colour) The colour is a lovely warm neutral grey colour, that’s not to cold or dark, and during different times of the day has different tones to it. This is my first time using Farrow and Ball paint and was really nice to apply and the finish is lovely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Colour based review Love this colour. Wanted a greyish but warm colour to team with a darker accent colour. Although this turned out darker than expected, I am not dissatisfied. Having only purchased tester pots, I'm off to buy tomorrow and can't wait to get started. I think this is a great colour to use in west/east facing rooms as the large patches I have painted around the room look warm in darker light and bright in the morning. I was warned of a lilac tone to it but have not experienced this at all. I personally prefer this to the recommended colour of Elephant's Breath where a warm but grey colour scheme is required in my east facing room.
