Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly Beautiful! After quite a few tester pots of both Little Greene paint and Farrow and Ball I finally decided on Oxford Stone to go in my kitchen, which has terracotta floor tiles and wooden worktops. I could not be happier with my decision! I chose the modern emulsion which is wipeable, it was so easy to apply and has a really lovely finish. This paint looks matt but in the light has a slight sheen to it. The colour is so Beautiful and has a lovely contrast against my white kitchen cupboards. I would describe the colour as a sandy beige (not yellow)! But does have a nice warm under tone about it in some lights different times of the day. I bought the 2.5L tin and have over half the tin left over as the paint goes really far. I never write reviews but felt I needed to as the reviews on this site helped me when trying to find the right colour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great alternative to French Gray Used this colour to redecorate kitchen after five years of French Gray. Shade recommended by Peter Giles of F&B for which thanks, excellent suggestion. Not radically different but lighter, brighter and more elegant and good to get away from the ubiquitous French Gray. Probably suits the period house better, goes great with wooden work tops and windows and our terracotta floor tiles. Used Modern Emulsion, great application. Overall, very happy indeed thank you.
