A chalky mid tone
This mid tone off white is one of the original Farrow & Ball colours - an uncomplicated name for a timeless classic. Off-White sits within our Traditional Neutrals so works perfectly with Old White, Slipper Satin and Lime White. Its underlying green gives it an unsurpassed softness, creating a chalky and traditional wall colour or a sophisticated woodwork tone. Off-White is also great for use on floors, bouncing light onto the walls while retaining a soft, warm feel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EmEliza from A beautiful green Off-White reads green rather than an off-white but I’m really pleased that it does. I was going to paint the room in “Bone” but worried it was a little too dark in natural light, Off-White is a perfect in between shade. We have an East/West aspect and the colour shifts throughout the day, going from a very pale almost mint in the morning to a deep sage green in the afternoon. The paint also applies really well (even over our old and lumpy lime plaster) two coats was enough for a streak free finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hampshire1221 from The perfect mid tone! I can’t believe it took me so long to find this colour. I had overlooked it for ages, thinking it would be a bit “meh”. However, after looking at lots of photos online and trying samples I decided to take the plunge and paint our living room. It’s a south facing room with a high, beamed ceiling. Despite being south facing it can be quite a dark room in the morning and late afternoon (the sun is either shining directly in or not at all). This colour is cosy in the gloom and glows in the light. Absolutely beautiful. I used slipper satin on the woodwork to complement.
