A cool white
Paint Colours: Blackened
Our coolest white, with the slightest hint of grey, was historically made with the addition of lamp black pigment gathered from the smoke of burning oil lamps. Blackened sits perfectly with each of our Architectural Neutrals for a minimal look or stronger industrial feel. It’s particularly spectacular when used in Full Gloss within stainless steel kitchens, or when paired with All White for an uncompromisingly modern finish.
Available in our brand new Dead Flat® finish for walls, woodwork and metal.
Recommended Primer & Undercoat: White & Light Tones
Complementary white: All White

Surprise
We are doing up an old cottage with tiny windows. The snug had wood chip paper all over painted in a dark red to walls and ceiling with built in bookshelfs stained dark oak. Including fake beams
We took it all out, panelled the walls and the ceiling. Blackened to the walls and AllWhite modern eggshell to the new fitted book cases and fake fire surround. Plain white to the ceiling and its fake beams.
To our surprise the blackened seems to have a faint blue hinge and the overall effect is soothing. Like with all F&B paints it responds to surrounding colours, the incoming light and obviously your lighting.
To me that is it’s beauty
