All White

A totally pure white

All White is exactly what it says! Unusually, it contains no other pigment except for white, creating the softest most sympathetic colour without the colder blue undertones of a brilliant white. One of our Contemporary Neutrals, All White pairs seamlessly with Skimming Stone and Strong White for a warm scheme with a slight edge. For a clean and almost graphic finish, contrast with fresh, strong tones like Pitch Black and St Giles Blue.

Recommended Primer & Undercoat: White & Light Tones

Complementary white: Strong White

All White is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 399.

Get the most out of your sample pot order with our three-step guide to testing colours at home.

Back in 2010, we moved our entire range to an eco-friendly water base that’s low odour, low VOC and child-safe, becoming the first in the industry to do so. Easy to clean without harmful solvents, in tins that can be recycled again and again, our paints help to reduce the environmental impact of redecorating your home.

Every one of our paint colours is available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.

All Farrow & Ball finishes except Limewash contain isothiazolinones, which may produce an allergic reaction. Farrow & Ball Limewash contains calcium hydroxide which can cause severe damage in contact with skin or eyes. Rated 5 out of 5 by from White White is white but if you want a winter white with no blue/ purple hues and no yellow/ cream hues this colour is perfect. Great coverage and a dense colour content. Perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Took me 20 year to find but worth the wait! Bought this paint for a room where I had tried various whites and beiges over the years. the light falls very differently in parts of the room and has been difficult to find a white I like. This is the one. I'm using the room as a studio and this is perfect as no dreaded magnolia undertones or grey at all. I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great service Great service will use again,as a contractor have to pay retail price then charge a margin to the customer so reduces the amount of FB being used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely colours Really pleased with the overall result. We used brilliant white and Joa’s white in the lounge and Purbeck grey with brilliant white in the hall and stairs area. The result is stunning. Paint gives off minimal fumes and we are really pleased we chose Farrow & Ball.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this paint We have always used Farrow & Ball's All White for our woodwork. It is expensive so we went for a different make this time, but had to then order our usual from Farrow & Ball as we weren't keen on the other one. It was too white & had a sheen, although eggshell, whereas the F&B All White is a softer white & truly matt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant at rejuvenating tired old gloss We bought our house 12 years ago and only intended to stay for 5 years, so at the beginning of lockdown we were more than a little astounded to realise we’d stayed so long and done nothing to the house in that time aside from the children’s bedrooms. Like everyone else during lockdown we’ve revamped the house (Calluna in the hall, stairs and landing - amazing, Wevet in the kitchen, gorgeous and Hague Blue in the downstairs loo, sounds questionable but completely beautiful with white tiles etc). The gloss around the house all needed to be redone so I’ve painstakingly made it my personal mission to do it all before Christmas. The paint is fairly thin, which means more drips if you’re a messy painter like me, but goes on beautifully, dries beautifully and with two thin coats our doors, skirting and radiators look lovely. So pleased we went with F&B; the paints are worth every penny, the finishes are hard wearing and still somehow manage to elevate an average bit of skirting into something I’m thrilled with. Can’t praise this paint highly enough, and best of all it comes off the dog with a damp cloth!
