WATER BASED AND CHILD-SAFE

Back in 2010, we moved to an entirely water based range of finishes, becoming the first in the industry to do so. These low-odour, low-VOC finishes are easy to clean without harmful solvents. They are also certified child- and baby-safe in accordance with Safety of Toys Part 3: Migration of certain elements (EN 71-3:2019+A1:2021).

Exclusions: Casein Distemper, Wood Floor Primer & Undercoat, Wood Knot & Resin Blocking Primer & Undercoat, and Metal Primer & Undercoat.


QUALITY FINISHES

Our paint colours are available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.


SAFETY INFORMATION

All Farrow & Ball finishes except Limewash contain isothiazolinones, which may produce an allergic reaction. Farrow & Ball Limewash contains calcium hydroxide which can cause severe damage in contact with skin or eyes. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I loved the Californian colour palette straight. We took a risk and ordered the colours salt and hazy without getting samples. The colours are gorgeous together and had so many people asking where we got our paint! Also the paint drys very quickly, doesn’t leave a strong smell and a little goes a long way as it’s great quality!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely Paint The paint is easy to use, but the colour description is not good. This "Hazy" is very much Bluer than described. Too blue, so I shall have to order another tin of "something" which means I will have bought two (expensive) tins, when I only needed one. OK maybe I should have bought a sample first, but I trusted F & B's description. By the way, F & B sent me an e-mail today asking me to review when I have already done a review. So here we have review number 2.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely paint, but...... I was going to get Parma Gray, but I was tempted by the new colour Hazy. The finished result is good, this however, is more blue than stated or shown. Nothing wrong, looks good but not really what I wanted. Last month we painted the kitchen in Teresa's green and that colour was exactly as shown, so somewhat disapointed this time. Don't get me wrong it's a lovely colour, but too blue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very nice blue - but difficult to source I would have preferred to purchase a sample pot of Hazy but they are not currently available. As a result my review of Quality, Finished Look and Ease of Use are based on other F&B colours. I have since discovered that Hazy is also not available from my local Farrow & Ball store so I will not be ordering. Disappointing as it is a lovely colour.
