A quiet dark stone
Broccoli Brown is from our new Colour by Nature palette, created in collaboration with the Natural History Museum to bring the true colours of nature into your home.
Broccoli Brown is a quiet dark stone colour that sits effortlessly alongside natural materials such as weathered wood or flagstone floors. Its muted quality makes it ideally suited to studies, where its reserved tone serves as the ideal backdrop, especially when taken over the ceiling as well as the walls.

Absolutely love it!!
I was looking for a darker colour for my bedroom as I already had the Charcoal Woods & Pears and walls were previously white. I got it painted by a painter and when he saw the sample, he was a bit “Oh! It’s quite dark” and we looked at some other lighter shades but I stuck with my instinct to go for this (Despite some bad reviews) and also the lighter shades made me feel like I was compromising and just being safe.
The painter said it was good paint and I absolutely love it. It my opinion it is exactly the right name for it. It is a warm brown with lots of depth. Looking forward to getting the furniture and bedside lights back but just had to share the photos now as I love it so much.

Nothing at all like the colour in F&B website
Used F&B in all rooms in our house this is my first disappointment, but what a disappointment. so glad I didn't buy the 5Ltr tin.
First of it goes on terrible like glue not paint and if go over a piece you've just painted it removes it, worst paint I've ever used.
The colour looks absolutely nothing like the picture on F&B website or anything like their description. It is about ten shades darker and is a dark brown. I have salon drab in my bathroom and you cant tell the difference between the two, will be contacting F&B to see if they have put the wrong paint in the tin, If you can call it paint. not happy this time F&B.
