Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional colour depth and the perfect backdrop for modern and traditional art work. After extensive colour trials I selected 'Cats Paw' Modern Emulsion for my north facing kitchen. This is the second time I have worked with the modern emulsion paint range and the colour and ease of coverage is quite exceptional. Initially sceptical that this paint type would not reflect the same depth of colour or integrity of the Estate Emulsions I have been pleasantly convinced it has equal value especially in steam filled bathrooms and high traffic kitchens! The colour Cats Paw is not too yellow toned nor neutral yet blends well with the light and dark woods of my beech and walnut kitchen units. This colour looks warm yet not overwhelming in artificial light. Highly recommended - keep painting the colour will recess when all walls are completed. It is the most perfect backdrop for modern and traditional art work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent colour on deep extern ltimber reveals to our cobalt blue entrance door We chose cat's paw to tone with old 'Cambridge bricks' on the walls of our Victorian shop to house conversion. The paint was for the deep exterior reveals of our cobalt blue entrance door. The bricks over the years had taken on many shades of cream/grey/beige/yellow and even black, but we didn't want the timber sides of the blue entrance door to look beige or grey which would have been dull against the blue. Hence we are delighted with this almost pale mustard tone of cat's paw - it is perfect. We have also used it to paint the sills of the first floor windows. It is slightly more yellow than the paint card!
