A romantic mid-toned blue
Ultra Marine Blue is from our new Colour by Nature palette, created in collaboration with the Natural History Museum to bring the true colours of nature into your home.
A stunning blue with a slightly romantic feel, Ultra Marine Blue has been in favour since the 18th century, when it was often used to make small rooms feel bigger. For the contemporary home, it looks striking on cabinetry, especially combined with a kitchen island in dramatic Scotch Blue.

Only have a small kitchen but in my mind I knew exactly what I was trying to achieve. I must admit I was a little sceptical about the colour thinking it would be too dark. But decided to go ahead anyway feeling I could soon go over it again with a different colour. Wow more than delighted with this ultra marine blue. Kitchen actually looks bigger.
The paint was very easy to apply and has a lovely finish. I don’t think I could have achieved this with any other product. Very positive comments from friends.
Thank you Farrow and Ball this is the second time your products have delighted me.

Woodwork Paint Poor
I bought eggshell paint for my woodwork in two halls and a stairwell. This was for a home, rather than a business, occupied by adults - so, low levels of traffic and no opportunities for damage or "rough" treatment. I've been so disappointed with the F&B paint - its easy to chip and mark. Just hoovering the carpet means I have to touch up all the chips afterwards. All around door handles have been retouched at least 4 times now in under two months. I couldn't recommend this paint at all - its simply not hard wearing enough to be anywhere other than behind glass. I waited over a month for this paint because of the colour & paid the F&B premium - am bitterly disappointed.
