Snow White

Snow White is from our new Colour by Nature palette, created in collaboration with the Natural History Museum to bring the true colours of nature into your home.

A fresh, delicate white

Snow White is a wonderful alternative to a pure white, versatile enough to be used on woodwork and ceilings alongside any other colour. A tiny hint of yellow pigment is the secret to its warm and reflective nature, bouncing light around in even the darkest of spaces and creating rooms with a laid-back feel.

Recommended Primer & Undercoat: White & Light Tones

Complementary white: Skimmed Milk White

Snow White is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 37.

Back in 2010, we moved to an entirely water based range of finishes, becoming the first in the industry to do so. These low-odour, low-VOC finishes are easy to clean without harmful solvents. They are also certified child- and baby-safe in accordance with Safety of Toys Part 3: Migration of certain elements (EN 71-3:2019+A1:2021).

Exclusions: Casein Distemper, Wood Floor Primer & Undercoat, Wood Knot & Resin Blocking Primer & Undercoat, and Metal Primer & Undercoat.

Every one of our paint colours is available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.

All Farrow & Ball finishes except Limewash contain isothiazolinones, which may produce an allergic reaction. Farrow & Ball Limewash contains calcium hydroxide which can cause severe damage in contact with skin or eyes. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful colour Wanted a soft colour to compliment the dark wood floors and a colour that reflected the light,so we painted the hall and living room in the new Snow White estate emulsion. We are pleased with the soft pleasant clean looking shade and with white ceilings it looks so fresh and summery. We used two coats and as advised a primer coat and the results are amazing, would definitely recommend this new shade. We ordered it directly from Farrow & Ball,as none of our local suppliers had it in stock nor on their colour charts,so perhaps the company can now issue new ones to all the outlets!.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Colour matches wallpaper exactly Thanks to the match pots I managed to match my paint colour to my wallpaper exactly. The Snow White colour, in my opinion is a seriously pale (hint of) chalky lemon, bordering on a lemon/cream. My one negative is that although the chalky look was my intention, a simple scratch removes the paint colour far too easily. That said, the paint is super creamy and easy to put on the walls

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snow white, a white with a hint of lemon I wanted to change the colour from a green/blue to something lighter as the dark colours shrank the room. The room is now bright and fresh and the lustre is fabulous. The faint lemon works very well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous warm white I was thrilled with how this colour looks. In my long, narrow north facing room it’s added so much light and warmth. 2 coats of modern emulsion- I used just over 5 litres for a very long room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong yellow tint but a very soft colour Colour is a lot more yellow than the name suggests, it has strong yellow tones that come through but is a great colour in both dim and bright light. Paired with duck green looks amazing in contrast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous colour I bought this without buying a sample pot first. I loved the look of the Snow White and bought it in modern for my dressing room which is a 21st century extension , but used estate emulsion in my bedroom which is in the oldest part of the house over 400 years old. Even my husband likes the colour. We were covering up a bright colour so used 2 coats of contract emulsion then 3 coats of the estate emulsion. But after some building work it meant redecorating and I wanted the same colour , this time we had decorators in the dress g room as it’s high and open to the beams. Even they admired the colour. but they used less emulsion again over a green colour and put more layers of Snow White on . I kept the skirting board, architrave and doors all satin white .
