Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect green It’s taken me ages and a zillion testers to find the right green for the walls in my small east facing kitchen. I started out painting in Cooking Apple Green after liking the tester but found it looked cold and insipid on the walls in poor light. Sap Green on the other hand is just perfect - a warm, vibrant olive green that takes on different qualities and looks beautiful in bright daylight, shade and artificial light. I needed 3 coats but 2.5 litres of modern emulsion was still plenty for the job. Also used the mid tones primer - a lot lighter than Sap but provided a nice smooth base. So happy with the final result.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cosy at night, bright and fresh in the day! I spent ages trying to choose the right green for my west facing dining room (very sunny in the afternoon/evening but dark and drab the rest of the time) and finally settled on Sap Green and I am so glad I did. Sap green feels so bright and fresh when the sun shines, and connects the room to the view of plants and trees in the garden. When the room is dark it becomes an almost completely different colour - a wonderful deep green that feels cosy and warm. The quality is beautiful, perfect matte finish after 2 coats. I am so happy with this colour
