Back in 2010, we moved our entire range to an eco-friendly water base that’s low odour, low VOC and child-safe, becoming the first in the industry to do so. Easy to clean without harmful solvents, in tins that can be recycled again and again, our paints help to reduce the environmental impact of redecorating your home.

Every one of our paint colours is available in a range of durable interior and exterior paint finishes, each rigorously tested to ensure an exceptional depth of colour and long-lasting finish. For the very best results, we always recommend using a Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat – see above for the correct tone for this colour.

All Farrow & Ball finishes except Limewash contain isothiazolinones, which may produce an allergic reaction. Farrow & Ball Limewash contains calcium hydroxide which can cause severe damage in contact with skin or eyes. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant colour I’m a big fan of farrow and ball for their colours and how easy and high quality the paint is. Was looking for an excuse to use Dutch Orange as it’s a perfect warm but bright colour that really lights up my kitchen. Make sure to use the right farrow and ball primer, with the primer it took about 2/3 of a 2.5L can of paint for all the walls & ceiling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Perfect Paint After decorating for many years I must admit, was not prepared for the ease of use and fluidity of your paint. Vibrant Colour and finish very good. Why choose cotton when you can choose silk?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The colour is amazing- a rick yolk orangey yellow! I have tried many brands of paint, and wasted alot of money. We are currently renovating a crofters cottage and painted the panelling and doors with another brand of paint and its already chipping off :( We were told by the paint company that they could mix up the same colours as the F&B colours, but cheaper , and sadly we used their brand. We also have a huge Georgian listed house we are doing up, and I have already painted all the doors in a professional Dulux black, and it just looks AWFUL! The finish is ugly and I hate it. So we decided to "splash out" on Farrow and ball to paint the pannelling in the lounge room using the estate eggshell, and my goodness- WHAT A DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY AND FINISH! It looks so expensive and lovely and I am sold for life now! Even my husband who wasn't kneen to spend more on paint is totally sold after seeing the difference. The is ABSOLUTELY a big difference in quality of the finish and durability! So this Dutch Yellow will now be gracing the window frames of our crofters cottage on the Isle of Skye, and the rectory red for the doors of the bothy to the side and will pop in the landscape! If you have been wondering if it's worth splashing out a little more to use F&B or just go with the decorating stores "rip off colours" believe me, don't do it! I have wasted loads of time and loads of paint on those which I now have to sand down and re-do in F&B, and it would have been cheaper just to have done it right from the start!! I am so overjoyed at how nice the paint looks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous colour The deep, warm yellow works brilliantly in my office. Not too garish, and not too dull: something which I just couldn’t find from other brands of paint. I would say that you might need to be prepared to use three coats. I was painting on white primer and two carefully applied coats just didn’t quite cut it. That said, I’ve rarely found two coats is actually quite enough no matter what the brand.
