A relaxed green-grey
Ash Grey is from our new Colour by Nature palette, created in collaboration with the Natural History Museum to bring the true colours of nature into your home.
Ash Grey has a relaxed feel that makes it suited to any space, particularly when combined with the slightly warmer Skimmed Milk White on woodwork. For a more modern look, try teaming with a lighter Snow White trim. The underlying green in this shade means that it will appear more intensely coloured in natural daylight and greyer in areas of low light.

Warm green, no hint of grey in a light filled room
We chose this colour for a south facing bedroom, given the suggestion it could be used in any space. The colour reminds me of a light apple green with no hint of grey even on the dullest day (we live in the north of England, so these are often). We have paired it with shaded white for ceiling and woodwork (which is a complementary colour suggestion) but I don’t feel they work together in this space as the ash grey is too warm. I feel it does not have the ‘signature’ colour of a farrow and ball paint and clashes with the rest of the colours we have used in various rooms upstairs/landing (shaded white, dead salmon, purbeck stone and french grey).

Not an accurate sample
Loved the colour when we painted the sample paint on the wall. Closer to olive than to grey. Expected the same when we ordered 5 litres. But this was a much lighter colour. Not a disaster but definitely not as striking as the sample colour. And also not too different from the colour we had before, so overall, disappointing.
I emailed your customer services a month ago to say this but had no reply. Also disappointing.
Concerned now about the accuracy of your sample pots - not sure I can trust them.
