Great Partner for Stronger Colours
I bought this to use alongside Sap Green in a bright south and west facing kitchen. The two colours are great together, and Skimmed Milk dries a lot paler than it appeared straight out of the pot. I loved it as a neutral so much, I decided to use it on the chimney breast in our bright south facing living room. Now, I was painting over a strong blue turquoise that we had inherited when we moved in, and that may have affected the process, but the SMW appeared yellow as I painted it on. I actually went back into the kitchen to check I had the right tin of paint as it looked so different. I held my nerve and kept going, and after two coats it is now a lovely putty colour with a gold/green undertone. My advice for this colour is (a) it's lovely (b) use a matchpot and (c) do two coats and let it dry before deciding what colour it will be in your room. I'll be keeping it in the living room and again pairing it with a strong colour.

Give it a chance
We bought this to go on the ceiling with Ash Grey on the walls. Walls were originally cream/beige. I painted this on and panicked......it was so dark. It appeared green to me, and dark grey on camera against the original walls. But we persevered, and honestly once the Ash Grey was on the walls, it changed looks completely and now looks like a lovely cream with a slight hint of green. We are really happy with our colour choice.
