A deep chocolate brown
Archived Collection: Drawing Room Blue
This warm drab has a two-part name combining ‘salon’, the small outer room off a drawing room, with a term that describes a colour as lacking in brightness. The richness of this chocolate brown is instantly appealing, effortlessly creating a modern look or classic 19th century feel. Salon Drab works as a dark accompaniment to both the Warm and Contemporary Neutrals.
Available in our brand new Dead Flat® finish for walls, woodwork and metal.

Gorgeous but not a consistent chocolate brown
This is a gorgeous color but it's a true chameleon in my room, which has windows in all four directions. In one area it's the perfect chocolate brown and on the next wall it's a medium-dark rich taupe with green undertone, on yet another wall it looks gray like a desert dove, this is all at the same time! So if you have a lot of windows in your house, make sure you sample. It's very organic feeling, reminiscent of tree bark, chocolate, stone, feathers. My house is constructed with a lot of wood and teal shades of rock so I needed a rich color that would blend these organic elements, and I love the results. But depending on your light, if you want a consistent true chocolate brown, this may not be it.
