A cool lemon yellow
Originally chosen by colourist John Fowler, Hound Lemon is a mysterious name for this delicate shade. With cooler undertones than many of our yellows, it feels especially fresh used in a garden-facing room, where it mimics the tones of nature outside.
Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Mid Tones
Complementary white: House White

Just perfect
We painted kitchen and lounge walls with hound yellow. It changes with the light and has a lovely warm feel. Lighter in the sun, cosier once it gets dark. It s a wonderful colour for our 200 y old cottage and works well with white sash-windows and the dark stained original floorboards. Goes on a treat and a little goes a long way...

Beautiful, smooth colour with great coverage
I bought this to update my kitchen and it has really refreshed what was a tired space. The colour has real depth whilst the flat finish means that the imperfections in my very elderly walls are unnoticeable. I absolutely love F&B paint - the cupboards are Folly Green which is now archived but still available
