Spend any reasonable amount of time browsing beautiful homes on Pinterest, or scouring interiors magazines for inspiration, and it’s likely you’ve been left thinking about your own kerb appeal (or, in the case of our transatlantic cousins, ‘curb appeal’). We speak, of course, from experience, which is why we know the quickest way to an envy-inducing exterior.

For us, it’s got to be a beautifully painted front door. As the first thing you see when you arrive home, and your visitors’ earliest introduction to your personal style, it’s a very important fixture indeed. Luckily, showing it some love needn’t be a huge undertaking – a good sanding, a layer of Primer & Undercoat, and a touch of weatherproof Full Gloss or Exterior Eggshell is all you need.

Which leaves the fun bit – choosing a paint colour for your front door. Our social media followers have been busy bringing their own entryways to life with shades from all corners of our colour card, from bright Nancy’s Blushes to inky Stiffkey Blue, and we’ve gathered a few of our favourites below to inspire you.

Once you’ve found your favourite, why not order a sample pot to try at home? We recommend painting your sample onto a piece of card and taking it outside to see how the colour appears in full sunlight.
