Great White

No. 2006

Great White appears to be a pale lilac when contrasted with All White so is perfect for girl’s bedrooms when wanting to keep a fairly neutral house. Despite its red undertone it is not the warmest of pinks but the inclusion of the merest amount of black makes it wonderfully sophisticated. White & Light Tones Undercoat.

Gives a beautiful soft pink glow in artificial light I have just painted my children's north-facing bedroom in this, and am really happy with it. But it is definitely not a "bright white" in this small dark room - it is a very pale creamy pink. Is wonderful, but not as it looks on the website or how it sounds in the F and B descriptions! I strongly recommend it for a dark bedroom, but it's definitely worth testing in situ. 17 November 2014
Final finish is beautiful. I used this paint as a final trim on our wood trim. Initially was a little thick but after adding about two tablespoons of water to the quart can it applied beautifully. Final gloss finish was great and had nice soft feel. Odor was very low and went away. We plan on using Farrow & Ball on the rest of our home. 09 May 2014
excellent product The product is quite excellent, high quality, perfect final results and very easy to apply. The colour is also perfect, neither yellow nor grey. The final result is very elegant. We shall recommend it! 29 July 2013
Excellent Delighted with ease of application and final colour. I wanted white with pink/grey undertones for my daughter's (very small!) bedroom and the result is perfect - just what I wanted. Would recommend. 07 July 2013
a really great white A little bit pink before drying but really white once very dry, the whole without being icy or yellow rustic. easy to apply. 12 June 2013
Pink/lilac white Painted a north facing bedroom in this. While it does create a lovely soft light, it is very pink which was not what I was after. Will be repainting in a more neutral tone. Definitely more of a bedroom colour 21 May 2013
Nice off-white, taupe tone We wanted a neutral white or grey that was not cold, to go with dark wood beams, red floor bricks and fabrics that have some brown and other neutrals in. Also something sympathetic with an old house. This has worked well. In this room it has an interesting taupe tone, like white with a hint of pink and grey. Looks much better with the dark beams than a pure white. 11 April 2013
Be warned -very pink! I used this on my woodwork in eggshell. It looked very pink against the walls and I had to repaint over it with white! 11 March 2013
