Neutral Colour Schemes
Colour can create a wide variety of moods and styles to suit every type of home. Farrow & Ball is renowned for its range of neutral colours which are easy on the eye, creating a look of understated elegance. The following groups work well as colour schemes in their own right.
WARM GREY TONES
Warm grey tones such as Slipper Satin® No.2004, Lime White No.1, Off-White No.3 and Old White No.4 have a very sophisticated feel. They are traditional colours, but work well in contemporary situations too.
WARM REDS
If warmer tones appeal then Pointing® No.2003, Dimity® No.2008, Joa’s White® No.226 and Archive® No.227 should be considered. This group has a very warm feel and creates an extremely relaxing atmosphere.
YELLOW TONES
Colours with a yellowish hue, for instance, White Tie® No.2002, New White No.59, Matchstick® No.2013 and String® No.8 have a pretty ‘country’ feel and are very easy to live with.
COOL GREYS
Cool grey tones will give you a more hard edged contemporary feel, but with a slight underlying warmth. These include Wimborne White No.239, Strong White® No.2001, Skimming Stone No.241 and Elephant’s Breath® No.229.
