Farrow & Ball was selected as the preferred paint supplier for the restoration of the world famous Ballroom at the Bath Assembly Rooms in Bath, Somerset, England. The Ballroom has been faithfully restored to the original 18th century decorative scheme using Farrow & Ball paint colours Ballroom Blue No.24 and Cornforth White No.228.
Charleston House, Sussex, UK
Farrow & Ball has been involved with the conservation painting of Charleston House since its original restoration in the early 1980s. The house most recently underwent restoration work in Spring 2009, when Farrow & Ball specialist lead-based paint was used to ensure historical accuracy during the conservation work. Farrow & Ball created a bespoke paint colour, ‘Bloomsbury Blue Gray’ which is featured on the exterior woodwork of the house. The colour and finish of the paint was carefully matched to original paintwork to recreate the authentic look of Charleston.
