Blue Gray

No. 91

* Samples available in Estate Emulsion only. Colours on screen may vary from actual paint.

Blue Gray creates the most relaxed of rooms that feel as if they have always been there, due to the mix of its blue, green and black pigments. It is a cooler more weathered version of French Gray and has the same magical quality of changing between blue and grey depending on the light conditions and time of day. Mid Tones Undercoat.

lovely finish but looks more green gray than blue gray. My husband decorated the hall stairs and landing with this colour at the bottom. It has a very good finish as has all F an B emulsion we have used. Unfortunately, it has a greenish tinge after two coats. My husband was decorating while I was on holiday and was worried I would not like it. Luckily, I see it as grey but everyone else sees it as green - a nice green but we had hoped for bluish gray. We are hoping that a third coat will darken it down a bit. We are also hoping that a grey carpet will tone it down. The top in F and B Blackened comes out pale silver and is beautiful so I can still use my blue curtains. I love this colour and would recommend it with the blue grey plus white woodwork. Incidentally, the woodwork paint was harder to use and my husband was disappointed with the finish. He said it was very thin. However we are very pleased with the emulsion finish and would use it again. 29 May 2015

Struggling Love the colour, love the different shades throughout the day however am struggling to find colours to match with it. Usual palate is white/blue/grey so am struggling with the green tone. 18 May 2015
So unexpected! I was advised by the lady in store, that even though the colour of my kitchen units was in the similar shade to the Blue Grey, that it would look stunning and not dark as I envisaged. She was totally correct. I love it - bang on trend and in a serviceable finish for a kitchen. Lovely period colour. 10 May 2015
Love this! There is a certain degree of confidence that you get when painting with Farrow and Ball paint. I find I am never let down by the end result. 28 February 2015
