Laboratory Technician
An opportunity has arisen within the Research & Technical Development department for a QC Laboratory Technician to provide cover in both the paint and wallpaper departments.
After a initial training period the role will involve routine quality control tests, preparing samples, maintaining and updating manufacturing records, and various other duties. Upon successful completion of the probationary period the hours will be 9.30am to 6.00pm. The successful applicant will be numerate and literate and have the ability to work as part of a team.

Painter & Decorator
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Farrow & Ball as a Painter & Decorator responsible for all decorating projects on site and throughout the Showroom network.

The successful candidate with have extensive experience and will ideally have experience of working in a retail or office environment. They will have experience of working with all types of paint and extensive expertise of hanging wallpaper.

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the Showroom Management team ensuring all work within the Showrooms is carried out to the highest standard, within budget and with the minimal of impact on the Showroom.

Experience of working with Farrow & Ball products is highly desirable. There will also be the opportunity for the successful candidate to work with our Research & Technical Development department supporting the testing and benchmarking of products as well as supporting the Marketing team on window displays and other projects.

Basic IT literacy desirable.

This position will be based predominately based in London with extensive time spent at our Head Office in Wimborne, Dorset. This role will also involves extensive travel throughout the UK with some international travel possible and will often require time spent away from home.

Van and tools will be provided.

Product Specialist
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Research & Technical Development Department for a Product Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring there is a full understanding of the physical characteristics in use of all paint and wallpapers produced by Farrow & Ball. The role will be responsible for testing all current products and those in development against recognised standards and report findings to key stakeholders. They will also be responsible for product benchmarking.

They will ensure that this knowledge is used consistently in all customer communications through preparation of reports, involvement in Product Training and preparation of Product advice sheets maintenance of IT systems.

The successful candidate will be experienced in building relationships, influencing and presenting to different audiences and have a background of working within the Paint or Coatings industry with experience of working in a laboratory environment.
